About dig dis!

Frank Schreiner, business economist and music enthusiast, can look back on a career of more than 25 years in the music business. In 1992 he founded the vinyl distributor Music Mail Tontr?ger GmbH.

In 2005, the acquisition of the CD distribution company Nova MD GmbH marked the further consistent expansion of the indie distribution structures.

As co-founder of M-Tunes (today Believe Digital Germany), he recognized the digital trend at an early stage and in 2006 expanded the existing structure to include the digital sector with dig dis! This was the right decision, because dig dis! quickly developed into one of the largest and most innovative distributors in Europe, which now offers services that go far beyond normal distribution structures. dig dis! was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of Music Mail Tontr?ger GmbH. The existing experience and professional structures from physical distribution were consistently transferred to the digital sector and expanded. Since then, we have developed into one of the largest independent distributors of digital music, both for labels and producers.

With our employees, all of whom come from the music industry themselves, we at dig dis! keep our structures lean, professional and efficient. On the one hand, we maintain the high standard of our offering, but we always listen to the pulse of the industry in order to recognize innovative trends. We program in-house tools that allow our labels to individually get the most out of our offer. Direct contracts with the major download- and streaming-portals as well as personal contacts that have grown over the years allow us preferential placement on all major platforms.
